SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Foster Grandparents - Employment opportunity for limited income persons 60 and older who wish to work five days a week with children with special needs.
Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)- Persons 55 and older volunteer their time and talents working in a wide variety of community settings: schools, libraries, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.
Employment Services - The Agency offers several programs for persons age 55 or older who are seeking either subsidized / unsubsidized, full or part-time positions. Included are the Senior Community Service Employment Programs, Workforce Investment Act and the Employment Assistance Program.
Senior Center Services: Provides a variety of social-recreational programs such as: information and referral, consumer education, health screening, noontime hot meals, cultural activities, travel, recreation, volunteer services, nutrition education, physical fitness, computer training and health awareness programs.
