This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to provide senior center services in the Hazleton area. Bidders should have the capacity to provide recreation/socialization services to approximately 65 seniors per day.

        The purpose of a senior citizens center is to provide persons 60+ years of age with a place to go on a daily basis that promotes a healthy lifestyle. This is provided in the way of socialization, group participation in center activities, trips, cultural events and a hot, and nutritious noontime meal.

        Educational programs are also provided on occasion, such as blood pressure checks, exercise programs and activities that enhance the physical and mental well being of senior citizens.
